Work pathway questions
Many Australian work pathways require your qualifications and experience to be assessed by the authority relevant to your occupation. Each authority has its own requirements, costs, and timelines. It's usually one of the first concrete steps in a skilled pathway.
It depends on the pathway. Employer-sponsored pathways require an Australian employer; some skilled pathways are points-based and don't require a job offer. Your occupation, experience, and English level shape which routes may be open to you.
Most skilled pathways set minimum English test scores, and higher scores can improve your position in points-based systems. Requirements vary by pathway and change over time.
Your current country of residence generally doesn't prevent you from exploring Australian pathways — your occupation, qualifications, experience, and English matter most. Many of our clients are OFWs.
Australia encourages skilled migration to areas outside the major cities, and regional pathways can have additional options or incentives. Regional life also often means lower living costs.
